(1999).&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/online.liebertpub.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1089\/thy.1999.9.369\">Growth inhibitory effects of flavonoids in human thyroid cancer cell lines.&nbsp;<\/a><em>Thyroid<\/em>, 9(4), 369-376.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estudios previos han indicado que los flavonoides exhiben propiedades antiproliferativas en algunas l\u00edneas celulares cancerosas dependientes de hormonas, como el c\u00e1ncer de mama y de pr\u00f3stata.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el presente estudio, los efectos de algunos flavonoides seleccionados, geniste\u00edna, apigenina, luteolina, crisina, kaempferol y biocanina A en l\u00edneas celulares de carcinoma de tiroides humano, UCLA NPA-87-1 (NPA) (carcinoma papilar), UCLA RO-82W -1 (WRO) (carcinoma folicular) y UCLA RO-81A1 (ARO) (carcinoma anapl\u00e1sico) han sido examinados.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre los flavonoides probados, la apigenina y la luteolina son los inhibidores m\u00e1s potentes de estas l\u00edneas celulares con valores de CI50 (concentraci\u00f3n a la que se inhibi\u00f3 la proliferaci\u00f3n celular en un 50%) que var\u00edan desde 21.7 \u03bcM hasta 32.1 \u03bcM. Las c\u00e9lulas eran viables en estas concentraciones. El uso de c\u00e9lulas NPA que se sabe que son receptores de estr\u00f3genos positivos (ER +), Se demostr\u00f3 que no significativa [ 3 H] -E 2 desplazamiento se produjo con estos flavonoides en el IC 50 concentraci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En las c\u00e9lulas WRO que se sabe que tienen un sitio de uni\u00f3n antiestr\u00f3geno (AEBS), la biocanina A caus\u00f3 un efecto de crecimiento inhibidor m\u00e1s fuerte (IC 50 = 64.1 \/ _M) que en las c\u00e9lulas NPA y ARO. Adem\u00e1s, se observ\u00f3 que biocanina A tiene una afinidad de uni\u00f3n apreciable para el AEBS como se indica por el desplazamiento de [ 3 H] -tamoxifen de las c\u00e9lulas WRO.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En resumen, los flavonoides tienen una potente actividad antiproliferativa in vitrocontra varias l\u00edneas celulares de c\u00e1ncer de tiroides humano. La actividad inhibidora de ciertos compuestos flavonoides puede estar mediada por el AEBS y \/ o el EBS de tipo II. La observaci\u00f3n de que las c\u00e9lulas ARO que carecen tanto de AEBS como de ER se inhiben de manera efectiva por la apigenina y la luteolina sugieren que otros mecanismos de acci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n son operativos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presente estudio sugiere que los flavonoides pueden representar una nueva clase de agentes terap\u00e9uticos en el tratamiento del c\u00e1ncer de tiroides.\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yin, F., Giulano, A.
