(2015).&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.rsc.org\/en\/content\/getauthorversionpdf\/c5fo00397k\">Theobromine inhibits differentiation of 3T3-L1 cells during the early stage of adipogenesis via AMPK and MAPK signaling pathways<\/a>.<em>&nbsp;Food &amp; function<\/em>, 6(7), 2365-2374.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La obesidad se caracteriza por hipertrofia y \/ o por la diferenciaci\u00f3n o adipog\u00e9nesis de adipocitos preexistentes.&nbsp;<br>En este estudio, investigamos los efectos inhibitorios de la teobromina, un tipo de alcaloide en el cacao, sobre la diferenciaci\u00f3n de adipocitos de los preadipocitos 3T3-L1 y sus mecanismos de acci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La teobromina inhibi\u00f3 la acumulaci\u00f3n de gotas de l\u00edpidos, la expresi\u00f3n de PPAR\u03b3 y C \/ EBP\u03b1, y la expresi\u00f3n de ARNm de aP2 y leptina. La inhibici\u00f3n de la diferenciaci\u00f3n adipog\u00e9nica por la teobromina se produjo principalmente en las primeras etapas de diferenciaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, la teobromina detuvo el ciclo celular en la fase G0 \/ G1 y regula las expresiones de CDK2, p27 y p21. El tratamiento con teobromina aument\u00f3 la fosforilaci\u00f3n de AMPK y la eliminaci\u00f3n de AMPK\u03b11 \/ \u03b12 impidi\u00f3 la capacidad de la teobromina para inhibir la expresi\u00f3n de PPAR\u03b3 en las c\u00e9lulas diferenciadoras 3T3-L1. La teobromina redujo la fosforilaci\u00f3n de ERK y JNK.
