(2017). <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1177\/1933719116667218\">Quercetin decreases insulin resistance in a polycystic ovary syndrome rat model by improving inflammatory microenvironment.<\/a><em>Reproductive Sciences<\/em>, 24(5), 682-690.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FONDO: La resistencia a la insulina (IR) es una caracter\u00edstica cl\u00ednica  del s\u00edndrome de ovario poliqu\u00edstico (PCOS). La quercetina, derivada de  hierbas medicinales chinas como el espino, ha demostrado ser pr\u00e1ctica en  el tratamiento de la IR en la diabetes. Sin embargo, se desconoce si la  quercetina podr\u00eda disminuir la IR en PCOS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OBJETIVO: Este \nestudio tiene como objetivo observar el efecto terap\u00e9utico de la \nquercetina sobre IR en un modelo de rata PCOS y explorar el mecanismo \nsubyacente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>METODO \/ MEDIDAS: Se estableci\u00f3 un modelo de rata \nPCOS IR mediante inyecci\u00f3n subcut\u00e1nea con dehidroepiandrosterona. Se \nobserv\u00f3 el peso corporal, el ciclo estral y la morfolog\u00eda del ovario de \nlas ratas tratadas con quercetina. Las citocinas inflamatorias en suero \nse analizaron usando un ensayo inmunoabsorbente ligado a enzimas. En los\n tejidos ov\u00e1ricos, la expresi\u00f3n de genes clave involucrados en la v\u00eda de\n se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n inflamatoria se detect\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de Western blot, reacci\u00f3n\n en cadena de la polimerasa en tiempo real, o inmunohistoqu\u00edmica. La \ntranslocaci\u00f3n nuclear del factor nuclear \u03baB (NF-\u03baB) tambi\u00e9n se observ\u00f3 \npor inmunofluorescencia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RESULTADOS: La tasa de recuperaci\u00f3n  del ciclo estral del modelo PCOS resistente a la insulina despu\u00e9s del  tratamiento con quercetina fue del 58,33%. La quercetina redujo  significativamente los niveles de insulina en sangre, interleucina 1\u03b2,  IL-6 y factor de necrosis tumoral \u03b1. La quercetina tambi\u00e9n disminuy\u00f3  significativamente la translocaci\u00f3n nuclear de las c\u00e9lulas de la  granulosa de NF-\u03baB en el modelo de rata PCOS resistente a la insulina.  El tratamiento inhibi\u00f3 la expresi\u00f3n de genes relacionados con la  inflamaci\u00f3n, incluida la subunidad de nicotinamida adenina dinucle\u00f3tido  fosfato oxidasa p22phox, lipoprote\u00edna de baja densidad oxidada y  receptor 4 tipo Toll, en tejido ov\u00e1rico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CONCLUSION: La quercetina mejor\u00f3 la IR y demostr\u00f3 un efecto terap\u00e9utico favorable en las ratas PCOS. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wang, Z., Zhai, D., Zhang, D., Bai, L., Yao, R., Yu, J., &#8230; &amp; Yu, C.
