A pesar de la demostraci\u00f3n de su actividad anticancer\u00edgena, el mecanismo exacto subyacente a los efectos del 6-gingerol contra el sarcoma sigue siendo incompleto.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>OBJETIVO: En el presente estudio, investigamos los efectos anticancer\u00edgenos del 6-gingerol en las c\u00e9lulas de osteosarcoma.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>M\u00c9TODO: El ensayo MTT se realiz\u00f3 para determinar la viabilidad celular. La fosforilaci\u00f3n y los niveles de prote\u00edna se determinaron por inmunotransferencia. El ciclo celular se determin\u00f3 usando citometr\u00eda de flujo. Se emple\u00f3 una reacci\u00f3n en cadena de la polimerasa cuantitativa para determinar los cambios en la expresi\u00f3n de genes del ARN mensajero (ARNm).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: El tratamiento con 6-gingerol result\u00f3 en una disminuci\u00f3n significativa en la viabilidad de las c\u00e9lulas de osteosarcoma de una manera dependiente de la dosis. En paralelo, el n\u00famero de c\u00e9lulas detenidas en la fase del ciclo celular sub-G1 aument\u00f3 significativamente.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSI\u00d3N: Los resultados mostraron que el 6-gingerol indujo la activaci\u00f3n de cascadas de caspasa y niveles celulares regulados de Bcl2 y Bax. Adem\u00e1s, el 6-gingerol activ\u00f3 la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna quinasa activada por AMP (AMPK) asociada con las v\u00edas apopt\u00f3ticas. Nuestros hallazgos sugieren que el 6-gingerol suprime el crecimiento de las c\u00e9lulas de osteosarcoma. La actividad anticancer\u00edgena se atribuye a la activaci\u00f3n de la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n apopt\u00f3tica y la inhibici\u00f3n de la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n antiapopt\u00f3tica que se incorpora con la activaci\u00f3n de AMPK inducida por 6-gingerol.
