(2011).\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1002\/jcb.22948\">Oxidized low\u2010density lipoprotein promotes osteoblast differentiation in primary cultures of vascular smooth muscle cells by up\u2010regulating Osterix expression in an Msx2\u2010dependent manner.<\/a>\u00a0<i>Journal of cellular biochemistry<\/i>, 112(2), 581-588.<\/p>\n<p>FONDO: Anteriormente hemos demostrado que las lipoprote\u00ednas de baja densidad oxidadas (oxLDL) act\u00faan sin\u00e9rgicamente con el \u03b2-glicerofosfato para inducir la diferenciaci\u00f3n osteog\u00e9nica de las c\u00e9lulas primarias de m\u00fasculo liso a\u00f3rtico bovino (BASMC).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>OBJETIVO: En el presente estudio, intentamos resolver el mecanismo responsable de este efecto examinando la expresi\u00f3n de varios factores de transcripci\u00f3n espec\u00edficos de osteoblastos.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>M\u00c9TODO \/ RESULTADOS: : Por lo tanto, mediante el cultivo de BASMCs en ausencia o en presencia de \u03b2-glicerofosfato y \/ o LDLox, demostramos que \u03b2-glicerofosfato induce tanto Runx2 y Osterix ( Osx expresi\u00f3n). Por el contrario, oxLDL no tiene ning\u00fan efecto sobre la expresi\u00f3n de Runx2 , sino que mejora la diferenciaci\u00f3n de osteoblastos inducida por \u03b2-glicerofosfato al regular a\u00fan m\u00e1s la Osxexpresi\u00f3n. En un intento por dilucidar el mecanismo responsable de este \u00faltimo efecto, examinamos la capacidad de oxLDL para afectar la expresi\u00f3n de Msh homeobox 2 ( Msx2 ). Similar a su efecto sobre la expresi\u00f3n de Osx , se descubri\u00f3 que oxLDL aumenta sin\u00e9rgicamente la expresi\u00f3n de Msx2 inducida por \u03b2-glicerofosfato en una forma extracelular de las quinasas 1 y 2 reguladas por se\u00f1al (Erk 1 y 2). Adem\u00e1s, la capacidad de oxLDL para mejorar tanto la expresi\u00f3n de Osx inducida por \u03b2-glicerofosfato como la actividad de fosfatasa alcalina se evit\u00f3 cuando los BASMC se transfectaron por primera vez con Msx2ARNsi espec\u00edfico.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSI\u00d3N: Tomados en conjunto, estos hallazgos sugieren un mecanismo plausible por el cual oxLDL puede promover la diferenciaci\u00f3n de osteoblastos y la calcificaci\u00f3n vascular in vivo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Taylor, J., Butcher, M., Zeadin, M., Politano, A., &amp; Shaughnessy, S.
