El compuesto K (CK), uno de los principales metabolitos de los ginsen\u00f3sidos, media las actividades antimetast\u00e1sicas y antial\u00e9rgicas de los ginsen\u00f3sidos. El prop\u00f3sito de este estudio fue investigar el efecto de CK sobre el nivel de col\u00e1geno tipo I, la actividad de la metaloproteinasa de matriz (MMP) -1 y el nivel de prote\u00edna en fibroblastos irradiados con radiaci\u00f3n ultravioleta (UV).<\/p>\n<p>M\u00c9TODOS: Los fibroblastos se cultivaron con y sin CK (0.01 \u03bcM, 0.1 \u03bcM o 1 \u03bcM) durante 2 horas. Las c\u00e9lulas se irradiaron simuladamente y se irradiaron con 50 kJ \/ m 2 , 100 kJ \/ m 2 o 200 kJ \/ m 2 UVA, y se incubaron en medio Eagle modificado por Dulbecco sin suero, con o sin CK durante 24 horas. La actividad de MMP-1 en los sobrenadantes y los niveles de prote\u00edna en las c\u00e9lulas se evaluaron mediante zimograf\u00eda y transferencia Western, respectivamente. El nivel de col\u00e1geno tipo I se evalu\u00f3 mediante un ensayo inmunoabsorbente ligado a enzimas.<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: La actividad de MMP-1 y el nivel de prote\u00edna aumentaron mediante UVA, que fue regulada negativamente por CK.
