El bisfenol A (BPA), como un disruptor endocrino conocido, est\u00e1 estrechamente relacionado con el desarrollo del c\u00e1ncer de seno. La curcumina se ha utilizado cl\u00ednicamente en la quimioprevenci\u00f3n y el tratamiento del c\u00e1ncer; sin embargo, a\u00fan se desconoce si los microARN est\u00e1n involucrados en la protecci\u00f3n mediada por la curcumina de los efectos promotores asociados al BPA sobre el c\u00e1ncer de seno.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>OBJETIVO: En el presente estudio, demostramos que el BPA exhibi\u00f3 actividad estrog\u00e9nica al aumentar la proliferaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas de c\u00e1ncer de mama humano MCF-7 positivas para receptores de estr\u00f3geno y desencadenar la transici\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas de la fase G1 a la S.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: La curcumina inhibi\u00f3 los efectos proliferativos de BPA en las c\u00e9lulas MCF-7. Mientras tanto, la regulaci\u00f3n positiva inducida por BPA de los oncogenes miR-19a y miR-19b, y la expresi\u00f3n desregulada de las prote\u00ednas posteriores relacionadas con miR-19, incluidas PTEN, p-AKT, p-MDM2, p53, y el ant\u00edgeno nuclear de proliferaci\u00f3n celular, fueron revertidos por la curcumina.
