Se desconoce c\u00f3mo este qu\u00edmico produce estos efectos, pero puede funcionar al suprimir NF-kappaB, un factor de transcripci\u00f3n nuclear que regula la expresi\u00f3n de varios genes involucrados en la inflamaci\u00f3n, la citoprotecci\u00f3n y la carcinog\u00e9nesis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>En este estudio, investigamos el efecto del resveratrol sobre la activaci\u00f3n de NF-kappaB inducida por varios agentes inflamatorios.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>El resveratrol bloque\u00f3 la activaci\u00f3n inducida por TNF de NF-kappaB de una manera dependiente de la dosis y el tiempo. El resveratrol tambi\u00e9n suprimi\u00f3 la fosforilaci\u00f3n inducida por TNF y la translocaci\u00f3n nuclear de la subunidad p65 de NF-kappaB y la transcripci\u00f3n del gen indicador dependiente de NF-kappaB. La supresi\u00f3n de la activaci\u00f3n de NF-kappaB inducida por TNF por el resveratrol no se restringi\u00f3 a las c\u00e9lulas mieloides (U-937); tambi\u00e9n se observ\u00f3 en c\u00e9lulas linfoides (Jurkat) y epiteliales (HeLa y H4).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>El resveratrol tambi\u00e9n bloque\u00f3 la activaci\u00f3n de NF-kappaB inducida por PMA, LPS, H2O2, \u00e1cido okadaico y ceramida. La supresi\u00f3n de NF-kappaB coincidi\u00f3 con la supresi\u00f3n de AP-1. El resveratrol tambi\u00e9n inhibi\u00f3 la activaci\u00f3n inducida por TNF de la prote\u00edna quinasa quinasa activada por mit\u00f3geno y la quinasa N-terminal c-Jun y anul\u00f3 la citotoxicidad inducida por TNF y la activaci\u00f3n de caspasa. El resveratrol suprimi\u00f3 tanto la generaci\u00f3n intermedia de ox\u00edgeno reactivo como la peroxidaci\u00f3n lip\u00eddica inducida por TNF.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Los efectos anticancer\u00edgenos, antiinflamatorios y moduladores del crecimiento del resveratrol pueden, por lo tanto, atribuirse parcialmente a la inhibici\u00f3n de la activaci\u00f3n de NF-kappaB y AP-1 y las quinasas asociadas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manna, S.
