Food &amp; function, 9(1), 344-354.<\/p>\n<p>CONTEXTO: La capsaicina (CAP), un potente agonista de receptor transitorio de tipo vanilloide tipo 1 (TRPV1), es un ingrediente importante del pimiento rojo. Recientemente, la capsaicina ha atra\u00eddo una atenci\u00f3n creciente debido a sus m\u00faltiples actividades biol\u00f3gicas. Sin embargo, los efectos anticancer\u00edgenos de la capsaicina contra varios tipos de c\u00e1ncer, especialmente en el carcinoma de tiroides, no se han aclarado por completo. El TRPV1, que puede ser activado por la capsaicina, juega un papel clave en muchos procesos biol\u00f3gicos y fisiol\u00f3gicos.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>OBJETIVO: En el presente estudio, se investigaron las propiedades anticancer\u00edgenas de la capsaicina contra las c\u00e9lulas BCPAP del c\u00e1ncer de tiroides papilar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: Nuestros resultados indicaron que TRPV1 y TRPV6 se expresaron universalmente en diferentes tipos de l\u00edneas celulares de tiroides. La capsaicina podr\u00eda inhibir m\u00faltiples pasos de met\u00e1stasis sin afectar la viabilidad de las c\u00e9lulas BCPAP. La activaci\u00f3n de TRPV1 por capsaicina (25\u2013100 \u03bcM) suprimi\u00f3 significativamente la migraci\u00f3n e invasi\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas BCPAP, as\u00ed como su adhesi\u00f3n. Los niveles de prote\u00edna de Snail1 y Twist1, dos factores cr\u00edticos de transcripci\u00f3n EMT (EMT-TFs), disminuyeron dr\u00e1sticamente de una manera dependiente de la dosis despu\u00e9s del tratamiento con capsaicina, acompa\u00f1ado por la regulaci\u00f3n al alza de la prote\u00edna E-cadherina aguas abajo. Posteriormente, la activaci\u00f3n de TRPV1 por capsaicina tambi\u00e9n caus\u00f3 una inhibici\u00f3n significativa de la expresi\u00f3n de MMP-2 y MMP-9. Adem\u00e1s, los efectos inhibitorios de la capsaicina sobre la met\u00e1stasis de las c\u00e9lulas BCPAP fueron anulados por el pretratamiento de un antagonista espec\u00edfico de TRPV1 (capsazepina).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSIONES: Nuestros resultados sugieren que la activaci\u00f3n de TRPV1 por capsaicina se asocia con la inhibici\u00f3n metast\u00e1sica de las c\u00e9lulas BCPAP del c\u00e1ncer de tiroides papilar, indicando que la focalizaci\u00f3n de las funciones del VRP1 sigue siendo una estrategia factible para el tratamiento del c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Xu, S., Zhang, L., Cheng, X., Yu, H., Bao, J., &amp; Lu, R.
