Sin embargo, las aplicaciones de estos l\u00edpidos derivados de plantas est\u00e1n muy limitadas por la insolubilidad en agua y la escasa solubilidad en aceite. La mayor\u00eda de los estudios anteriores se han centrado principalmente en mejorar la solubilidad en aceite de los fitosteroles.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>OBJETIVO \/ M\u00c9TODO: El presente estudio estableci\u00f3 un m\u00e9todo eficiente para sintetizar un derivado de fitosterol soluble en agua (PPGS-1000), empleando [BSO 3HMim] OTf como catalizador. Aqu\u00ed, la conversi\u00f3n de PPGS-1000 super\u00f3 el 94% en un per\u00edodo corto (60 min). La actividad reductora del colesterol de PPGS-1000 se examin\u00f3 m\u00e1s a fondo en ratas Sprague-Dawley alimentadas con una dieta alta en colesterol. Adem\u00e1s, se explor\u00f3 el efecto de PPGS-1000 sobre la expresi\u00f3n de ARNm de genes hep\u00e1ticos implicados en el metabolismo del colesterol.<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: En ratas, PPGS-1000 redujo significativamente los niveles de colesterol total en suero y de lipoprote\u00edna de baja densidad (LDL-C), LDL-C en suero \/ relaci\u00f3n de colesterol de lipoprote\u00edna de alta densidad y nivel de colesterol en el h\u00edgado en un 10,3%, 33,7%, 35,9% y 25,9%, respectivamente. PPGS-1000 promovi\u00f3 notablemente la excreci\u00f3n de colesterol fecal. Y la expresi\u00f3n de ARNm de HMG-CoR, LDL-R y SREBP-2 en el h\u00edgado se regul\u00f3 despu\u00e9s del tratamiento con PPGS-1000.<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSI\u00d3N: En conclusi\u00f3n, PPGS-1000 pose\u00eda un potencial reductor del colesterol.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He, W.
