Sin embargo, no est\u00e1 claro si la detecci\u00f3n directa de la perturbaci\u00f3n de los l\u00edpidos contribuye a la activaci\u00f3n del EPU.<\/p>\n<p>Descubrimos que los sensores de estr\u00e9s ER de mam\u00edferos mutantes, IRE1\u03b1 y PERK, que carec\u00edan de su dominio de detecci\u00f3n de estr\u00e9s de prote\u00edna desplegada luminal, conservaron la capacidad de respuesta a una mayor saturaci\u00f3n de l\u00edpidos.<\/p>\n<p>La activaci\u00f3n mediada por la saturaci\u00f3n de l\u00edpidos en las c\u00e9lulas requiri\u00f3 un dominio transmembrana que abarcaba el RE y se regul\u00f3 positivamente in vitro por saturaci\u00f3n de la cadena acilo en liposomas reconstituidos.
