Es bien sabido que la inflamaci\u00f3n y el estr\u00e9s oxidativo podr\u00edan estar restringidos por el consumo de vitamina E (Ve) o \u00e1cidos grasos omega-3 (\u03a9-3 FA).<\/p>\n<p>OBJETIVO \/ M\u00c9TODO: Este estudio investig\u00f3 los efectos de Ve y \u03a9-3 FA sobre la inflamaci\u00f3n inducida por PM 2.5 y el estr\u00e9s oxidativo en las c\u00e9lulas endoteliales vasculares. Tambi\u00e9n se exploraron los mecanismos subyacentes que vinculan PM 2.5 a la lesi\u00f3n endotelial vascular. Las c\u00e9lulas endoteliales de la vena umbilical humana (HUVEC) se trataron con 50 \u03bcg \/ ml de PM 2.5en presencia o ausencia de diferentes concentraciones de Ve y \u03a9-3 FA. Se determinaron las citocinas inflamatorias y los marcadores de estr\u00e9s oxidativo.<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: Los resultados mostraron que Ve indujo una disminuci\u00f3n significativa en la inflamaci\u00f3n inducida por PM 2.5 y el estr\u00e9s oxidativo. El malondialdeh\u00eddo (MDA) en el sobrenadante y las especies reactivas de ox\u00edgeno (ROS) en el citoplasma disminuyeron en Ve, mientras que la actividad de la super\u00f3xido dismutasa (SOD) aument\u00f3. Las citocinas inflamatorias interleucina 6 (IL-6) y el factor de necrosis tumoral \u03b1 (TNF-\u03b1) tambi\u00e9n se redujeron en Ve. Adem\u00e1s, \u03a9-3 FA jug\u00f3 el mismo papel en la disminuci\u00f3n de la inflamaci\u00f3n y el estr\u00e9s oxidativo. Las expresiones de IL-6 y TNF-\u03b1 fueron significativamente m\u00e1s bajas en Ve combinado con \u03a9-3 FA que en el tratamiento con Ve o \u03a9-3 FA solo. La intervenci\u00f3n Ve y \u03a9-3 FA podr\u00eda abolir la PM 2.5inducida por el estr\u00e9s oxidativo y la inflamaci\u00f3n en las c\u00e9lulas endoteliales vasculares. Puede haber un efecto aditivo de estos dos nutrientes en la mediaci\u00f3n de la lesi\u00f3n inducida por PM 2.5 en las c\u00e9lulas endoteliales vasculares.<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSI\u00d3N: Los resultados sugirieron que la inflamaci\u00f3n y el estr\u00e9s oxidativo podr\u00edan ser parte de los mecanismos que unen PM 2.5 a la lesi\u00f3n endotelial vascular.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bo, L., Jiang, S., Xie, Y., Kan, H., Song, W., &amp; Zhao, J.
