Estas opciones de tratamiento resultan en toxicidad sist\u00e9mica y resistencia tumoral adquirida. Los fitoqu\u00edmicos naturales m\u00ednimamente t\u00f3xicos pueden representar alternativas comprobables a la terapia convencional. Las c\u00e9lulas tumorig\u00e9nicas mamarias epiteliales humanas 184-B5 \/ HER que sobreexpresan HER-2 representan un modelo para el subtipo de c\u00e1ncer de mama enriquecido con HER-2.<\/p>\n<p>El extracto de romero no fraccionado (RME) y los terpenoides fen\u00f3licos constituyentes \u00e1cido urs\u00f3lico (UA), carnosol (CSOL) y \u00e1cido carn\u00f3sico (CA) representaron los agentes de prueba. Proliferaci\u00f3n independiente del anclaje (AI), progresi\u00f3n del ciclo celular, la apoptosis celular y la expresi\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas reguladoras del ciclo celular y espec\u00edficas de la apoptosis representaban los biomarcadores de punto final mecanicistas.<\/p>\n<p>En relaci\u00f3n con las c\u00e9lulas parentales no tumorig\u00e9nicas 184-B5, las c\u00e9lulas tumorig\u00e9nicas 184-B5 \/ HER mostraron una disminuci\u00f3n de la duplicaci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n, una mayor densidad de saturaci\u00f3n, una progresi\u00f3n acelerada del ciclo celular y una apoptosis celular regulada negativamente, lo que confirma la p\u00e9rdida del control homeost\u00e1tico de la proliferaci\u00f3n.
