Se determinaron los niveles nocturnos de melatonina despu\u00e9s de la exposici\u00f3n a luz brillante (aproximadamente 2500 lx), as\u00ed como los niveles de melatonina plasm\u00e1tica durante 24 h. Tambi\u00e9n se registr\u00f3 el momento del sue\u00f1o. La vitamina B12 se administr\u00f3 a ciegas a los sujetos y se cruz\u00f3 con placebo.<\/p>\n<p>Encontramos que el ritmo de melatonina de 24 h estaba significativamente avanzado en fase (1,1 h) en el ensayo de vitamina B12 en comparaci\u00f3n con el del ensayo de placebo. Adem\u00e1s, la media de 24 h del nivel de melatonina plasm\u00e1tica fue mucho m\u00e1s baja en el traial de vitamina B12 que con el placebo.
