(2013).\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindawi.com\/journals\/jnme\/2013\/821082\/\">Plant polyphenols and oxidative metabolites of the herbal alkenylbenzene methyleugenol suppress histone deacetylase activity in human colon carcinoma cells<\/a>.\u00a0<i>Journal of nutrition and metabolism<\/i>, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Se ha proporcionado evidencia de que la dieta y los factores ambientales influyen directamente en los mecanismos epigen\u00e9ticos asociados con el desarrollo del c\u00e1ncer en los seres humanos.<\/p>\n<p>La inhibici\u00f3n de la actividad de la histona desacetilasa (HDAC) y la interrupci\u00f3n del complejo HDAC se han reconocido como una estrategia potente para la terapia y la quimioprevenci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p>En el presente estudio, investigamos si los componentes vegetales seleccionados afectan la actividad HDAC o el estado de la prote\u00edna HDAC1 en la l\u00ednea celular HT29 del carcinoma de colon humano.<\/p>\n<p>Se demostr\u00f3 que los polifenoles (-) &#8211; epigalocatequina-3-galato (EGCG) y geniste\u00edna (GEN), as\u00ed como dos metabolitos oxidativos del metileugenol (ME) inhiben la actividad de HDAC en c\u00e9lulas HT29 intactas. Concomitantemente, se observ\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n significativa del nivel de prote\u00edna HDAC1 despu\u00e9s de la incubaci\u00f3n con EGCG y GEN, mientras que los metabolitos ME investigados no afectaron el estado de la prote\u00edna HDAC1.<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSI\u00d3N: En conclusi\u00f3n, se descubri\u00f3 que los compuestos diet\u00e9ticos poseen propiedades inhibidoras de HDAC prometedoras, lo que contribuye a las alteraciones epigen\u00e9ticas en las c\u00e9lulas tumorales de colon, que deben tenerse en cuenta en evaluaciones adicionales de riesgo \/ beneficio de polifenoles y alquenilbencenos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Groh, I.
