Las c\u00e9lulas madre de glioma (GSC) son relativamente resistentes a la quimio-radioterapia y son responsables de la progresi\u00f3n del tumor y la recurrencia de glioblastomas despu\u00e9s de la terapia convencional. Por lo tanto, el control de la poblaci\u00f3n de GSC se considera clave para lograr la supervivencia a largo plazo de los pacientes con glioblastoma.<\/p>\n<p>Aqu\u00ed, identificamos que el resveratrol redujo significativamente la capacidad de autorrenovaci\u00f3n e iniciaci\u00f3n de tumores de las GSC derivadas de pacientes. Adem\u00e1s, el resveratrol promovi\u00f3 la supresi\u00f3n de Nanog a trav\u00e9s de la degradaci\u00f3n proteasomal, que fue inhibida por MG132, un inhibidor del proteasoma.<\/p>\n<p>La activaci\u00f3n de p53 es un factor importante en la supresi\u00f3n de Nanog y tambi\u00e9n se encontr\u00f3 que el tratamiento con resveratrol activa la v\u00eda p53 \/ p21. Es importante destacar que la inhibici\u00f3n de Nanog por ARNip provoc\u00f3 efectos inhibidores tanto en la capacidad de autorrenovaci\u00f3n como de formaci\u00f3n de tumores de las GSC.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestros hallazgos indican que Nanog es un factor esencial para la retenci\u00f3n del tallo y puede contribuir a la diferenciaci\u00f3n de las GSC inducida por el resveratrol.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestros resultados tambi\u00e9n sugieren que dirigirse a las GSC a trav\u00e9s del eje p53-Nanog, con resveratrol, por ejemplo, podr\u00eda ser una estrategia terap\u00e9utica contra el glioblastoma.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sato, A., Okada, M., Shibuya, K., Watanabe, E., Seino, S., Suzuki, K., &#8230; &amp; Kitanaka, C.
