(1979).\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/0161463079901253\">Effects of onion (Allium cepa) extract on platelet aggregation and thromboxane synthesis<\/a>.\u00a0<i>Prostaglandins and medicine<\/i>, 2(6), 413-424.<\/p>\n<p>Se informa que la administraci\u00f3n oral de cebolla y ajo disminuye la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria tanto en humanos como en animales.<\/p>\n<p>Se prepar\u00f3 un extracto oleoso de cloroformo de cebolla (Allium Cepa) y se separ\u00f3 mediante cromatograf\u00eda en columna sobre \u00e1cido sil\u00edcico en seis fracciones mediante eluci\u00f3n con disolventes de polaridad creciente. La fracci\u00f3n menos polar conten\u00eda la mayor parte de la actividad inhibidora de la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria inducida por ADP o \u00e1cido araquid\u00f3nico. Se proporcion\u00f3 una purificaci\u00f3n adicional mediante cromatograf\u00eda en capa fina. La actividad espec\u00edfica de esta fracci\u00f3n activa principal (ISO por ml de PRP) fue de aproximadamente 7 unidades por miligramo. Las plaquetas se incubaron en presencia de inhibidor de la cebolla y (1- 14El \u00e1cido C) -araquid\u00f3nico mostr\u00f3 cambios notables en el patr\u00f3n de metabolitos del \u00e1cido araquid\u00f3nico formados.<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00edntesis de tromboxano B2 se suprimi\u00f3 casi por completo sin disminuciones significativas en la formaci\u00f3n total de hidroxi\u00e1cidos grasos. Se concluy\u00f3 que la actividad antiplaquetaria observada de la cebolla se relaciona con la presencia de un inhibidor no polar y estable al calor de la s\u00edntesis de tromboxano. Esta parece ser la primera demostraci\u00f3n de este tipo de inhibidor presente en cantidades significativas en un alimento com\u00fan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Makheja, A.
