En la activaci\u00f3n plaquetaria, hay un aumento transitorio del calcio citopl\u00e1smico libre (Ca2 +), la generaci\u00f3n de tromboxano A2 y la activaci\u00f3n del receptor de fibrin\u00f3geno GPIIb \/ IIIa. Otros moduladores tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n involucrados en la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria e incluyen metabolitos de lipoxigenasa, prote\u00edna quinasa C, adenosina monofosfato c\u00edclico (cAMP), guanina monofosfato c\u00edclico (cGMP) y \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico (NO).<\/p>\n<p>Se informa que el ajo previene las enfermedades cardiovasculares por m\u00faltiples efectos, uno de los cuales es la inhibici\u00f3n de la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria y su capacidad para hacer esto se ha investigado ampliamente in vitro; sin embargo, los estudios in vivo son limitados. Los estudios in vitro indican que el ajo previene la inhibici\u00f3n de la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria inhibiendo la actividad de la ciclooxigenasa y, por tanto, la formaci\u00f3n de tromboxano A2, suprimiendo la movilizaci\u00f3n de Ca2 + intraplaqueta y aumentando los niveles de cAMP y cGMP.<\/p>\n<p>El ajo tambi\u00e9n muestra fuertes propiedades antioxidantes y activa la \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico sintasa (NOS), lo que lleva a un aumento del NO derivado de las plaquetas. Tambi\u00e9n puede interactuar directamente con los receptores GPIIb \/ IIIa, reduciendo as\u00ed la capacidad de las plaquetas para unirse al fibrin\u00f3geno.<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSION: Se concluye que el ajo inhibe la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria por m\u00faltiples mecanismos y puede tener un papel en la prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades cardiovasculares.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rahman, K.
