(2019). <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_url?url=http:\/\/njast.com.ng\/index.php\/home\/article\/download\/37\/37&amp;hl=es&amp;sa=T&amp;oi=gsb-gga&amp;ct=res&amp;cd=0&amp;d=2814022996045921114&amp;ei=QTSTX4mED4yNy9YPlKOFsAw&amp;scisig=AAGBfm0ixX3wtA1DnixIz_01PM8W2l5JKg\">Ameliorative Effect of Methanolic Extract of Orange Peels on Serum Thyroxine, Triiodothyronine and Haematological Parameters in Male Albino Wister Rats Following Mercury Toxicity<\/a>.\u00a0<i>Nigerian Journal of Animal Science and Technology (NJAST)<\/i>, 2(3), 12-20.<\/p>\n<p>OBJETIVO: Este estudio investig\u00f3 el efecto mejorador del extracto metan\u00f3lico de piel de naranja sobre la tiroxina s\u00e9rica (T4), la triyodotironina (T3) y los par\u00e1metros hematol\u00f3gicos en ratas Wister macho despu\u00e9s de la toxicidad por mercurio.<\/p>\n<p>MATERIALES Y METODO: Quince (15) ratas albinas de la cepa wistar madura aparentemente sanas que pesaban 170g-180g, se alojaron en una jaula est\u00e1ndar para ratas y se alimentaron con pienso est\u00e1ndar. Las ratas experimentales se dividieron aleatoriamente en tres grupos de cinco ratas cada uno y se les permiti\u00f3 aclimatarse antes del comienzo del experimento. Los grupos fueron los siguientes; grupo I (soluci\u00f3n salina normal), grupo II (cloruro de mercurio; 3,0 mg \/ kg solo) y grupo III (extracto de piel de naranja; 600 mg \/ kg y cloruro de mecurio; 3,0 mg \/ kg) en un dise\u00f1o completamente aleatorizado. El tratamiento se realiz\u00f3 durante 21 d\u00edas consecutivos. Se recogieron dos (2) ml de sangre a trav\u00e9s de la vena safena una vez a la semana durante tres semanas para la determinaci\u00f3n de los niveles s\u00e9ricos de tiroxina y triyodotironina y sangre completa para los par\u00e1metros hematol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: El resultado revel\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n significativa (P\u22640.05) en T4 y T3 en el grupo II (25.3 \u00b1 0.7 nmol \/ l; 0.9 \u00b1 0.52 nmol \/ l) en comparaci\u00f3n con el grupo I (38 \u00b1 0.23 nmol \/ l; 1.9 \u00b1 0.34 nmol \/ l ) y se observ\u00f3 una recuperaci\u00f3n significativa (P\u22640.05) para estos par\u00e1metros en el grupo III (30.3 \u00b1 1.2 nmol \/ l; 1.4 \u00b1 0.55 nmol \/ l) en comparaci\u00f3n con el grupo II. Tambi\u00e9n se observ\u00f3 un aumento significativo (P\u22640,05) en todos los par\u00e1metros hematol\u00f3gicos en el grupo I y el grupo III, sin embargo hubo una disminuci\u00f3n significativa (P\u22640,05) en todos los par\u00e1metros hematol\u00f3gicos excepto para los gl\u00f3bulos blancos que aument\u00f3 significativamente (P\u22640,05) en grupo II.<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSION: Se concluy\u00f3 que el extracto metan\u00f3lico de piel de naranja mejoraba el efecto t\u00f3xico del mercurio sobre las hormonas tiroideas y los par\u00e1metros hematol\u00f3gicos en ratas Wister macho.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Samuel, F.
