Las actividades de eliminaci\u00f3n de radicales libres se examinaron utilizando una t\u00e9cnica de ESR con atrapamiento de esp\u00edn; DMPO para radicales hidroxilo (\u00b7 OH) y super\u00f3xido (O2 \u00b7 -); y [(MGD) 2Fe2 +] para \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico (NO). Los efectos inhibidores sobre la peroxidaci\u00f3n lip\u00eddica se estimaron mediante los niveles de malonaldeh\u00eddo y 4-hidroxialquenosos en homogeneizados de cerebro de rata.<\/p>\n<p>El extracto de granada mostr\u00f3 actividad depuradora contra \u00b7 OH y O2 \u00b7 -. Las antocianidinas inhibieron un reactivo de Fenton \u00b7 sistema generador de OH posiblemente por quelaci\u00f3n con iones ferrosos. Las antocianidinas eliminan el O2 \u00b7 &#8211; de una manera dependiente de la dosis. Los valores de ID50 de delfinidina, cianidina y pelargonidina fueron 2,4, 22 y 456 \u03bcM, respectivamente. Por el contrario, las antocianidinas no eliminan eficazmente el NO. Las antocianidinas inhibieron la peroxidaci\u00f3n lip\u00eddica inducida por H2O2 en los homogeneizados de cerebro de rata.
