(2006). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jci.org\/articles\/view\/29463\">Vitamin D receptor in chondrocytes promotes osteoclastogenesis and regulates FGF23 production in osteoblasts<\/a>.\u00a0<i>The Journal of clinical investigation<\/i>, 116(12), 3150-3159.<\/p>\n<p>Las acciones gen\u00f3micas inducidas por 1\u03b125-dihidroxivitamina D3 [1,25 (OH) 2D3] son \u200b\u200bcruciales para el metabolismo \u00f3seo normal, principalmente porque regulan el transporte de calcio intestinal activo.<\/p>\n<p>Para evaluar si el receptor de vitamina D (VDR) tiene un papel espec\u00edfico en el desarrollo de la placa de crecimiento y la formaci\u00f3n de hueso endocondral, investigamos ratones con inactivaci\u00f3n condicional de VDR en condrocitos.<\/p>\n<p>El desarrollo de condrocitos de la placa de crecimiento no se vio afectado por la falta de VDR. Sin embargo, la invasi\u00f3n vascular se vio afectada y el n\u00famero de osteoclastos se redujo en ratones j\u00f3venes, lo que result\u00f3 en un aumento de la masa \u00f3sea trabecular.<\/p>\n<p>Los experimentos in vitro confirmaron que la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de VDR en condrocitos regulaba directamente la osteoclastog\u00e9nesis al inducir el activador del receptor de la expresi\u00f3n del ligando NF-\u03baB (RANKL). Sorprendentemente, la homeostasis mineral tambi\u00e9n se vio afectada en ratones sin VDR espec\u00edficos de condrocitos, ya que los niveles s\u00e9ricos de fosfato y 1,25 (OH) 2D aumentaron en ratones j\u00f3venes, en los que la actividad de la placa de crecimiento es importante.
