(2014).\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s10072-014-1661-4\">Growth inhibitory in vitro effects of glycyrrhizic acid in U251 glioblastoma cell line<\/a>.\u00a0<i>Neurological Sciences<\/i>, 35(7), 1115-1120.<\/p>\n<p>CONTEXTO: A pesar de los dram\u00e1ticos avances en la terapia del c\u00e1ncer, el pron\u00f3stico general del glioblastoma (GBM) sigue siendo p\u00e9simo. Se ha demostrado previamente que el factor nuclear kappa-B (NF-\u03baB) se activa constitutivamente en el glioblastoma y se sugiri\u00f3 como una posible diana terap\u00e9utica. Se ha demostrado que el \u00e1cido glicirr\u00edcico (GA) tiene efectos citot\u00f3xicos en muchas l\u00edneas de c\u00e9lulas cancerosas. Sin embargo, a\u00fan no se ha abordado su funci\u00f3n en el glioblastoma.<\/p>\n<p>OBJETIVO: Por lo tanto, este estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar los efectos de GA en la l\u00ednea celular U251 de glioblastoma humano.<\/p>\n<p>METODO: Los efectos de GA sobre la proliferaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas U251 se midieron mediante el ensayo CCK-8 y el ensayo de formaci\u00f3n de colonias en placa. La apoptosis celular se detect\u00f3 mediante tinci\u00f3n fluorescente Hoechst 33258 y citometr\u00eda de flujo con tinci\u00f3n dual de anexina V-FITC \/ PI. La expresi\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna p65 nuclear, la subunidad activa de NF-\u03baB, se determin\u00f3 mediante Western blot e inmunofluorescencia.<\/p>\n<p>RESULTADOS: Nuestros resultados demostraron que la tasa de supervivencia y la formaci\u00f3n de colonias de c\u00e9lulas U251 disminuy\u00f3 significativamente de una manera dependiente del tiempo y de la dosis despu\u00e9s de la adici\u00f3n de GA, y la proporci\u00f3n de apopt\u00f3tica de los grupos tratados con GA fue significativamente mayor que la de los grupos de control. Adem\u00e1s, la expresi\u00f3n de NF-\u03baB-p65 en el n\u00facleo se redujo notablemente despu\u00e9s del tratamiento con GA.<\/p>\n<p>CONCLUSION: En conclusi\u00f3n, nuestros hallazgos sugieren que el tratamiento con GA puede conferir efectos inhibidores sobre la l\u00ednea celular U251 del glioblastoma humano, incluida la inhibici\u00f3n de la proliferaci\u00f3n y la inducci\u00f3n de apoptosis, que posiblemente est\u00e9 relacionada con la v\u00eda mediada por NF-\u03baB.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Li, S., Zhu, J.
